       HISTORY:
  Discovery of thermo set plastic called ‘BAKELITE’ after the name of the discoverer Dr. Baeckeland, led to the establishment of U.K.
  Hyderabad Laminated Products Limited” was established in the year 1947. Later in 1969 its marketer, Bakelite India Private Limited was merged to form Bakelite Hylam Limited (BHL). The pioneering effort in thermo set plastics was Bakelite Hylam’s prelude to a prolific product range mainly developed in-house through a well-equipped R&D center.
  
  About Us:
  Bakelite Hylam Limited (BHL)developed a wide range of products for building industry as well as other sectors like electronics and automobile ancillaries, where BHL technology could be used.
  From the first plant at sanathnagar in Hyderabad (A.P.), the company developed as under: 
  1983 Purchase of a chemical plant at Nacharam, Hyderabad.
  1990 Setting up of a new plant for Heritage & Surface Textures at jeedimetla, Hyderabad with technical collaboration with M/s U.M.Corporation, Japan.
  1993 Purchase of Particle Board Plant from Indian plywood Manufacturers Ltd. At Ballarshah, Maharashtra.
